blackstrap rum

Made the traditional English way from molasses, distilled in pot stills, and bottled at British Navy Strength (57%) this thick, heavy rum is perfect for rum and coke, rum and ginger beer, or cocktails that need a rum that can stand up to the strong flavors of some cocktails.  Unlike most commercially available rum, there is no artificial color added.  Most of the color comes from new or 2nd fill Char 4 American oak barrels. Named after the evening distiller, Tom, who likes rum.
